NEU Started the Remote Reexamination for the 2020 Postgraduate Enrolment
On May 10, NEU officially started the remote reexamination for the 2020 postgraduate enrolment. The first batch of 284 candidates applying for the School of Metallurgy, the School of Humanities and Law, the College of Medicine and Biomedical Information Engineering and the School of Jiang He Architecture will participate in the reexamination through the Internet.Affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, NEU adopts the mode of remote reexamination for the first time for postgraduate enrollment. Both parties will take the reexamination in the form of online videoing via special platform software.
To ensure secured, fair and scientific reexamination for the postgraduate candidates, NEU has formulated a detailed remote reexamination scheme and a series of guarantee measures including “one-platform, two-identification, three-randomization and four-comparison”. Each reexamination team is equipped with a full-time secretary responsible for the candidates’ qualification examination and identity verification. After the candidates enter the online examination room and the formalities such as ID display, environmental audit and identity verification are finished, the reexamination will be officially started. The whole process of reexamination will be recorded and videotaped. In the next 10 days, 18 colleges and schools of NEU will carry out online reexamination work, with a total of more than 4,600 candidates and over 2,000 experts involved.
