Four Projects of NEU Passed the Final Acceptance of MOE for the First Batch of New Engineering Projects
Recently, the Ministry of Education (MOE) issued the Notice of the General Office of MOE on Releasing the Final Acceptance Results of the First Batch of New Engineering Research and Practice Projects. All the four projects that NEU applied in the first batch have passed the final acceptance. Among these four projects, project Exploration and Practice of Professional Transformation and Upgrading Paths of Mining Engineering Facing New Economy presided over by academician Feng Xiating has got the result of “Excellent”, and other three projects have passed the final acceptance, including project Exploration and Practice of Construction of New Engineering General Education Curriculum Systems Organically Integrated with Professional Education by professor Zhu Zhiliang, project Research and Practice of Metallurgical Innovative Talents Cultivation Systems Adapted to Industrial Transformation and Upgrading by professor Zhu Miaoyong, and project Exploration and Practice of Individualized Talent Cultivation Modes in New Engineering -- A Case Study of Computer Science and Technology by professor Zhang Bin.
NEU will take this opportunity to support and encourage those project groups that have passed the acceptance to further deepen research, promote engineering education reform and application of latest research results in talent cultivation, give full play to the demonstration role of the first batch of new engineering research and practice projects, drive, foster and cultivate new engineering research and practice projects, promote further deepening and development of new engineering construction, improve the quality of higher education, and carry forward a fair innovative talent cultivation mechanism.
