NEU Achieved Good Results in the 6th Liaoning College Students' Material Molding Process Creative Design Competition
Recently, the final of the 6th Liaoning College Students' Material Molding Process Creativity Competition was successfully held online. A total of 16 student teams from the School of Material Science and Engineering of NEU won the prizes after going through the internal selection, preliminary evaluation in the provincial competition, final defense and expert review. Among them, there are 3 grand prizes, 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 3 honorable mentions. The work titled Structural Design and Process Optimization of CTP-based Power Battery Packs completed by Dong Kechen, Gao Jie and Li Jiali, the work New Foam Aluminum Honeycombed Special Battery Packs by Wang Chuanjia, Cao Shanji and Liu Qisheng, and the work Foam Aluminum Temperature Control Composite Coating Battery Packs by He Fangrun, Gu Longjie and Yang Quanling from the School of Material Science and Engineering won the grand prizes. NEU won the “Excellent Organization Award”, Dong Lei and Wang Jian from the same school were rated as “Advanced Individuals in Organization Work”, and Gao Fei, CAI Minghui and Liu Lizhong were rated as “Excellent Instructors”.
The 6th Liaoning College Students' Material Molding Process Creativity Competition was sponsored by the Educational Department and the Department of Finance of Liaoning Province. This competition focuses on mass entrepreneurship and innovation, which is the demand of the time, with the proposition of pure electric passenger car battery pack structure and preparation process design. It aims to build a platform for college students to demonstrate their innovation ability, practical ability and comprehensive quality, cultivate their innovation awareness and team spirit, and enhance their engineering practice ability and employment competitiveness.
