On Jun. 4th,delegation headed by Josai University Educational Corporation Chancellor MizutaNoriko, and vice-President Sugibayashi Kenji visited Northeastern University(NEU). NEU President Zhao Ji met with the Japanese guests in Han Qing AssemblyHall in accompany with the principals of International Cooperation and ExchangeDepartment and Foreign Studies College.
Zhao Ji welcomedJosai University Educational Corporation delegation, and introduced the recentworks of NEU briefly, in the aspects of Hun Nan Campus construction, CloudComputing Science and Technology Industrial Park completion, and specialtymodification, etc. Zhao Ji indicated that NEU always paid high attention toopen development, and have got plentiful achievements from the cooperation withJosai University Educational Corporation during the recent years. In addition,he looked forward to deepening the future cooperation in the field of staffsand students exchange, and scientific research, and establishing a long-termand steady cooperation mechanism.
Mizuta Noriko spokehighly of the development of NEU in recent years. She pointed out that thecooperation of the two universities includes joint doctoral program andcultivation of translators so far, meanwhile, student and staff exchanges and cooperativeresearch are all going well. NEU had out putted a number of outstandingstudents to Josai University, while leaders of NEU Foreign Studies College areall with international vision. Finally, she introduced the construction of GraduateSchool, International College, and Research Center, and the cultivation ofinterdisciplinary talents in Josai University.
