On June 11th, Northeastern University Poland Research Center was inaugurated in the room 308 of Hanqing Hall. The vice president of the Poland University of Silesia Mirosław Nakonieczny and Vice secretary of party committee XiongXiaomei attended the ceremony. Relevant responsible Officers of colleges and departments of the two universities took part in the ceremony.
Northeastern University started Polish language course in September 2013, which becomes the third university that started Polish language in China. The Poland research center is an open style research institution concentrate on Poland problems and academic communication platform between China and Poland. The center is aimed at becoming an academic institution with cross-culture study as its characteristics on the basis of Polish research.
