On June 2, the Education Department of Liaoning Province announced the results of the “Excellent Doctoral and Master Dissertations of Liaoning Province in 2021”. A total of 49 postgraduate dissertations from NEU were awarded the “Excellent Academic Dissertations of Liaoning Province in 2021”, hitting a new high in NEU’s history with the number of prizes it won.
Among these 49 dissertations, 16 doctoral dissertations submitted by NEU, including the Research on Robust Fault-tolerant Specified Performance Control Method for Nonlinear Systems, were rated as “Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of Liaoning Province”, with a recommendation/admission rate of 100%, and a 60% increase in the number of admitted dissertations compared with last year. In addition, 33 master dissertations, including Mannheim's Critique of Ideology and Contemporary Enlightenment from the Perspective of Historical Materialism, were rated as “Excellent Master Dissertations of Liaoning Province”, with a recommendation/admission rate of 93.3% and a 17.9% increase in the number of admitted dissertations compared with last year.
