On November 19th, Matthias Biermann, Consul General of the German Consulate General in Shenyang, visited Northeastern University. Zhao Ji, the president of our school, met with the visitors in Room 203 of the Hanqing Hall, accompanied by the relevant person in charge of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and the Foreign Studies College. Zhao Ji briefly introduced the characteristics of Northeastern University and the cooperation with overseas universities, and expressed the hope to strengthen interaction and exchanges with German universities in the future.
Matthias Biermann said he has been committed to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Germany.He hopes that in the future, colleges and universities of the two countries will continue to broaden their fields of cooperation in the light of their own characteristics. After the meeting, Matthias Biermann and his entourage visited the Foreign Studies College and Goethe language Center.
