On November 21st, President Zhao Ji met with Yuri Aliakseyeu, Vice President of Belarusian National Technical University and General Manager of the Science and Technology Park at the International Academic Exchange Center of Northeastern University,accompanied by the official in charge of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
The two sides reviewed the cooperation process and achievements of the two universities, and discussed the next step of cooperation. The Confucius Institute of Science and Technology, jointly organized by the two universities, was awarded the 2017 Advanced Confucius Academy Award by the State Han Office. The two sides have developed fruitful exchanges between their teachers and students. Zhao Ji said that Northeast University will proactively devote itself to the construction of "Belt and Road" and deepen its comprehensive cooperation with Belarus in the fields of education, research and cultural exchanges.
Yuri Aliakseyeu and his entourage were invited by our university to attend the "Belt and Road" Union of Colleges and Universities, Shenyang Sub-Union, and the theme forum on "integrating into Belt and Road, promoting the Revitalization of the Northeast" held at Northeast University on November 22nd. After the forum, Yuri Aliakseyeu and his entourage visited Neusoft Group, Hunnan Campus of Northeast University, Liaoning Provincial Museum, and had a discussion with the exchange students from Belarusian National Technical University who studied in our university.
