Based on disciplines of Computer Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering of Northeastern University, Liaoning provincial key laboratory of integrated information processsing system for digitalized equipments is permited to build by Liaoning Department of Science and Technology in 2008. The Director of the laboratory is Professor Yu Ge of Northeastern University and the chair of the academic affairs aommittee is Academician Lin Huimin.Existing member of the laboratory is 36, as well as 18 floating people. The laboratory has more than ten high-level talents, including scholars in Thousand Talents Program funded by Central Organization Department, members of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, winners of National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation and National Outstanding Youth Fund and scholars in New Century Excellent Talents Program. The laboratory takes outstanding academic leaders as the core and young talent growth as the focus. We currently have two science and technology innovation teams of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education.
The research area focus on the synthetic information processing technology for digital equipments. Researches of this laboratory include distributed cooperative computing technology, new data management and intelligent information processing technology, new network and information security technology, embedded system and real-time system technology.
The laboratory has 650 square metres space for research, office,laboratory use. There are RFID & logistic management lab platform and big data & cloud computing plateform, including 2 Cluster Servers, 1 disk arry storage system, 1 GPU server and more than 100 PCs for high level science research and system development in computer science.
Since established, the laboratory has obtained over 100 projects, including the sub-project of National 973 Project, National 863 Project, China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists, National Natural Science Foundation of China, et al. This laboratory has gained lots of rewards for great academic achievements, such as the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the second prize of the College Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the ministry of education, the first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Liaoning Province. Besides, over 50 high-level academic papers were published in SIGMOD、VLDB、ICDE、RTSS、ACL、TKDE, et al. And there are three students receiving the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of China Computer Federation.
