Engineering and Technology Research Center of Energy Saving Metallurgical Equipment and Intelligent Detection, Liaoning Province

The research center innovates the key technology in metallurgical equipments and quality engineering to serve the old industrial base in Northeast China based on the major of metallurgical equipment in the institute of mechanical engineering and automation of Northeastern University. It relates to fields including quality control of the plate and strip steel, straightening theory and technology, special metallurgical equipments and so on. In recent years, it has achieved considerable research results with the support of a series of national projects and notional 211 and 985 research funding. What’s more, the research center has established long-term academic exchanges and cooperation with foreign well-known universities, such as University of Technology, Sydney,INP Grenoble and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The research center with the mechanism of open, flow, union and competition takes the theoritical research as source to emphasizes the foundation, the technology research as principal to stress the prospect. The application research as the export to reflect the strategy. It adopts centralized leadership, team management and enterprise operation. the projects are unified in competition, implementation, acceptance and funding to ensure the full strength of team strictly.
