NEU Professor Yang Guanghong Elected an IEEE 2022 Fellow

On November 24, the list of IEEE 2022 Fellow was announced. Professor Yang Guanghong from NEU’s College of Information Science and Engineering was elected an IEEE fellow for his outstanding achievements in and contributions to fault-tolerant control of dynamic systems. He is the fourth elected an IEEE fellow from NEU following academician Chai Tianyou, professor Zhang Huaguang and professor Zhao Jun.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) is an international society with over 400,000 members in more than 160 countries. IEEE Fellow is the highest level of IEEE members and the highest honor awarded to IEEE members, and it is recognized as an authoritative honor and an important career achievement in the academic circle of science and technology. An IEEE fellow is required to have made significant contributions to the progress or application of engineering science and technology and brought great value to the society, and the number of IEEE fellows is no more than 0.1% of the total IEEE members of the year.
