On October 17th, the final of the 3rd “Boyuan Cup” National College Students' Land Survey Competition was held in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. The black earth research team and the national spatial planning team, led by Lv Xiao, a professor at the School of Humanities and Law, and Xia Fengyun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president (concurrently) of the School of Humanities and Law, won the first prize and the second prize in the national finals respectively.
The black earth research team, which is made up of Meng Han, Jiang Bowen, Chen Yue and Cong Zheng, four Grade 2020 students who major in land resources management; and Zhang Haoran and Qi Fangbing, two Grade 2019 students who major in administrative management, won the first prize in the competition. The black earth research team focused on solving the multidimensional implementation logic problem of the national black earth protection project under the national spatial planning system, and analyzed the functional orientation of the northeast black earth areas under the national spatial planning system based on the research data collected in Xinmin city, Liaoning Province, Lishu County, Jilin Province and Zhaoguang Farm, Heilongjiang Province, explored the problems in the protection of black earth, summarized the practice, policy and innovation of the implementation of the black earth protection project, and finally put forward the approaches to the protection of black earth under the national spatial planning system.
The national land spatial planning team, which is made up of Wang Pengyu, Wang Yiyao, Wei Zifeng and Bao Ruoqi, four Grade-2020 students who major in land resources management; Li Zhenghong, a Grade-2019 student who major in public utilities management; and Zhang Dongjun, a Grade-2019 student who major in administrative management, won the second prize of the competition. The team focused on village planning, the most basic layer in the five-layer planning system of national spatial planning, comprehensively applied the stakeholder theory, game theory and grounded theory for cross-analysis, integrated theory with practice, and explored the perception of village planning business from a micro perspective. The team adopted the research methods of offline investigation, online interview and literature research to systematically learn about the business perception level of various stakeholders on village planning, and put forward relevant control approaches to promote the sound development of village planning.
