On April 8, Dáire Keogh, President of Dublin City University, Ireland, and persons accompanying him visited the Software College. Xiaochun Yang, Dean of the Software College, Chao Teng, Secretary of Party Committee, Jiannan Li, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Department, Zhenhua Tan, Jian Xu, Zhen Liang, Deputy Deans of the Software College and related staff attended the meeting.
Xiaochun Yang welcomed President Dáire Keogh and persons accompanying him, briefly introduced the development history, talent training system, teaching staff and international cooperation of the Software College, and led Dáire Keogh and persons accompanying him to visit the Para-Virtual Reality Talent Training and Innovation Center, the Institute of Intelligent Software Development Technology and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Experience Center of the Software College, where outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship projects of students were exhibited.
Dáire Keogh appreciated the professionalism and innovative ability of the students of the Software College, and looked forward to taking this visit as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation, strengthen student exchange, and carry out talent training and scientific research cooperation. Besides, Dáire Keogh sincerely invited a delegation from the Software College to visit Dublin City University, Ireland.
It is reported that the Software College has cooperated with the School of Computer Science of Dublin City University, Ireland to carry out graduation design projects as well as the undergraduate and postgraduate double-degree projects for more than ten years. In the future, based on the existing cooperation, the two sides will carry out in-depth academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation to promote the outcomes of innovative achievements.
