One Doctoral Dissertation from NEU Won the "Top Ten" Green Mines Graduate Thesis Award in 2024

Recently, the results of the "Top Ten" Green Mines Graduate Thesis Award in 2024 were announced. The doctoral dissertation of Yingliang Zhao from the Mining Engineering Department of NEU (supervised by Professor Jingping Qiu) titled "Performance Control of Arsenic Containing Waste Residue Filling Cementitious Materials and Study on the Solidification Mechanism of Arsenic" has been awarded as one of the "Top Ten Graduate Dissertations" for Green Mines in 2024. This paper successfully developed a new low-cost and environmentally friendly filling cementitious material from the solid waste resource utilization and pollution control. The research results are of great significance for reducing the cost of tailings bonding and filling, rational disposal of arsenic containing waste residue, and enriching the solidification theory of arsenic in cementitious materials.
