On the afternoon of September 11, the film Once Upon a Time in the Middle East held a special roadshow event at the NEU Hunnan Campus. Representatives from the Youth League Committee of NEU, media representatives from Liaoning TV, and more than 700 teachers and students attended the event.
The event consisted of two sessions, namely film screening and interactive exchanges with the main creative team. After the screening, screenwriter and director Wen Muye and director of photography Wang Boxue discussed topics including film themes, character development, and visual narrative with students based on the film’s creative process. They also shared the creative thinking behind the film. The event received an enthusiastic response. Students discussed the film’s audio-visual language, characters, and practical significance with the main creative team.
The roadshow brought a vivid film art class to students of NEU. It turned the simple belief of "eating well" into a concrete expression of building a community with a shared future for mankind, allowing teachers and students to feel the value of peace and the warmth of humanity through film.
