On the morning of September 21, delegations from the Indonesian government and universities, along with a delegation from Huayou Cobalt, visited NEU. Guo Hai, Secretary of the CPC NEU Committee, and Xu Wei, Vice President of NEU, met with the visiting guests in Room 824 of the Main Building.
Guo Hai extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegations and introduced the university’s history of development, disciplinary strengths, and an overview of its cooperation with Indonesia. Gao Baojun, Senior Vice President of Huayou Cobalt and President of Huayou Indonesia Nickel Industry Group, delivered a speech reviewing the history of cooperation among the enterprise, NEU, and various Indonesian parties, and presenting the outcomes of the tripartite joint talent cultivation program. Heri Hermansyah, Rector of Universitas Indonesia, delivered a speech as the representative of Indonesian universities, expressing gratitude to NEU for its dedication and efforts in cultivating high-level Indonesian talent.
