In the afternoon of June 6th, the Dragon Boat Festival Session of Northeastern University International Language Square Activities was held in the central garden of NEU, which attracted more than 40 domestic and foreign students for their participation.
The activity began with self-introduction part, where Chinese students and foreign students alternately made self-introduction, which was quite interesting. The later part was more challenging to the tacit cooperation between Chinese students and foreign students. Then in the free discussion part, students communicated about conventions and customs under the Dragon Boat Festival theme. Together they made Zongzi (rice dumplings), braided colorful ropes, practiced calligraphy, and they experienced Chinese traditional customs on festivals in a warm atmosphere.
Northeastern University International Language Square Activities provided a platform for the communication between Chinese and foreign students, and intrigued the passion of students to learn foreign languages, and it also attracted foreign exchange students to focus on China, know about China and to learn Chinese traditional culture.
