Northeastern University won gold award in Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition

Recently, the 31st Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition was held in Pittsburgh, USA. Four projects from Northeastern University were invited to this exposition. After presentation, testing and evaluation, Northeastern University projects finally won one gold Jury Award of industrial equipment, one IFIA (International Federation of Inventor’s Association) Special Award, two Merit awards and one Korea special award.


Among the four projects of Northeastern University, the "Intelligent Adaptive Control System for Modular Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine" invented by professor Zhang Huaguang and associate professor Yan Shijie from the Electric Automation Institute of College of Information Science and Engineering, won the gold Jury Award of industrial equipment(the highest award of the industrial equipment);  the "Intelligent Adaptive Throttle Control System and Its Application in Rescue Equipment" invented by professor Zhang Huaguang and associate professor Hui Guotao won the IFIA special award and the Merit Award of Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition; the "Adaptive Ethos and Heat Energy Optimization System" invented by professor Yang Dongsheng from the Electric Automation Research Institute won the Korea special award; the "Voltage Acquisition Device and Method of Battery Management System Based on Multiprocessor Coordinated Control Mode" invented by professor Hui Guotao won the Merit Award of Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition.
