Recently, in the 2015 Going to the Rural Area National College Student Volunteer Social Practice Assessment, two of our social practice teams won the nominee awards of best team. They are Liaoning social practice team from School of Materials and Metallurgy and Quanzhou and Fuzhou social practice from School of Life Science and Health. Duan Lian, Liu Peiyong, Zhang Fukun were awareded as Excellent Guide Teacher, and the Northeastern University won the Outstanding Organization award.
For many years,through official observation, research and professional training, and according to different grade and different ways to organize the team, a new model has been set up to dispatch volunteers, featuring school and university emphasis fostering, students self-raising and individual practice, thus a new mechanism to guide students broadly taking part in social practice was constructed. This year, Northeastern Uinversity will strengthen the guidence to social practice around One Belt, One Road, Poverty Alleviation, The Splendor of China and other themes, and make efforts to achieve new social practice results.
