The final of the Second National College StudentsSki Challenge was hold on Match 10th in Hebei Chongli Wanlong ski resort.Luxin,who was from the northeastern university, won the champion again with the finaltime of 1 minute and 15.5 seconds in the giant slalom match of the first day,and thus she was awarded as the most valuable player of the series. Liu Bowenwon the second place in Mens Snowboarding. The northeastern university won the teamchampionship in a second consecutive year.
This ski challenge is jointly hostedby the China skiing association, the school department of the Communist YouthLeague Central Committee and the China UniversitySports Federation, aiming to celebrate that Beijing gained the right to hostthe winter Olympic Games in 2022, andboosting the development of youth ice- snow sports. And it is also one of thesecond mass ice and snow season activities.
