On September 9th ,Shenyang robot collaborative innovation center was set up in Northeastern University. The center was led by NEU and composed of Shenyang University of Technology,Shenyang institute of automation of Chinese academy of sciences,SIASNN corporation, NEU Soft,SMTCL, SIM Technology Group Limited and more than 10 foreign research institutes and venture capital institutions.It is aimed at practicing the strategy of innovation driven development and serving the social and economic development in Liaoning province,which is intended to be the assistor of northeastern revitalization.
According to the general requirements of national need, wordleading and serving the local,the center will organize technical support work surrounding some common key technologies and core technologies to promote the technology development of robot industry in Shenyang ,which will provide support to turn Shenyang into a world-class robot industry base with international competitiveness.
The center will boost the organic combination of innovation activities and talents cultivation with the mechanism of system of graduate education as core to realize the goal of improving talent quality. The center will take the management mode of special administrative region and carry out the center director's responsibility system under the leadership of the council and committee of experts.
