During Sep. 27-30,Northeastern University (NEU) President Zhao Ji headed a delegation to visit ClemsonUniversity on invitation, and signed cooperation memorandum of understanding withPresent James Clements on behalf of the two universities.
President ZhaoJi held talks with Clemson University President James Clements, Executivevice-President Bob Jones, and Honorary President Jim Barker respectively. Thetwo sides both agreed that Northeastern University and Clemson University hadsimilar disciplinary structure and development patterns. On this basis, therewere greet cooperation opportunities between the two universities in the fieldsof teachers and students exchange, scientific research platform construction, students’innovative entrepreneurship education, automobile research center, and ConfuciusInstitute establishment, etc.
