Recently, the Centre for Science and Technology Studies issued the CWTS Leiden Ranking. Taking the papers on science and research cooperation between university and enterprises proportion as the ranking indicators, NEU ranked 6 in China with its 5.5% proportion of papers on science and research cooperation between university and enterprises. In the field of physical sciences and engineering, NEU ranked the first with its proportion of 7.2%.
