Mr. Zawa Taro, vice-chairmanof Neusoft (Japan), special advisor of Alpine Ltd., visited NortheasternUniversity (NEU) on Mar. 23rd, and had a campus tour in company withNEU President Zhao Ji, Chief Accountant Lu Yanhua, Principal Assistant Xu Feng,directors of Financial Planning Department and Science and Technology IndustryGroup. He listened to the introduction of NEU new campus’ and Science andTechnology Industrial Parks’ construction situation, and then had a meetingwith President Zhao Ji in NEU International Cooperation and Exchange Center.
Zhao Jiintroduced the basic present situation and future development planning of NEU briefly,reviewed the cooperation, spoke highly of and appreciated for the contributionof Mr. Zawa Taro in NEU industry development.
Mr. Zawa Taro talkedabout his deep thinking in the field of education concept and mode, collegediscipline construction and international development, etc. He indicated thatNEU had great development potential, and was bound to obtain much more fruitfulachievements.
In order to thankfor Mr. Zawa Taro’s outstanding contribution of promoting NEU science andtechnology industry development and international cooperation, President ZhaoJi granted him “Science and Technology Industry and International Cooperation ContributionAward”, engaged him as NEU science and technology industry internationalcooperation special advisor, and conferred him the medal and the appointmentletter.
