According to the results of 2015 MCM/ICM(Mathematical Contest in Modeling/ Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling) publishedrecently, 177 teams of Northeastern University (NEU) won 74 awards in all,which include 19 “Meritorious Winner” and 55 “Honorable Mention”. NEU had made outstandingachievements in MCM/ICM as usual.
MCM/ICMis a multi-day mathematics competition held annually, during the first or secondweekend in February. It is distinguished from other major mathematicalcompetitions by its strong focus on research, originality, teamwork,communication and justification of results.
