Apr. 16th,Ulf Richter, Kanzler of Universität Siegen, headed the delegation of UniversitätSiegen and Mubea Company, Germany visited Northeastern University (NEU), anddiscussed about the future cooperation. Sun Jiaxue, NEU Secretary of PartyCommittee, met with the guests in Han Qing Assembly Hall, accompany withprincipals of NEU International Cooperation and Exchange Department, School ofMaterials and Metallurgy, School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, and Collegeof Information Science and Engineering.
Sun Jiaxuewelcomed the visit of the delegation, and briefly reviewed the cooperationhistory among NEU, Universität Siegen, and Mubea Company. He introduced NEU interms of development history, size, characteristics, preponderant disciplines,students’ innovation, and scientific research. Sun Jiaxue hoped NEU could strengthenthe cooperation in the field of jointly talent training and scientific researchwith Universität Siegen, as well as the university-enterprise cooperation withMubea Company.
Ulf Richterspoke highly of the academic atmosphere in NEU during the campus tour. He also introducedthe college setup and subject characteristics of Universität Siegen, and lookedforward to further enhancing the trilateral cooperation with NEU along withMubea Company.
