Oct. 24th, British Ambassador to China Andrew Keyvisited NortheasternUniversity, and gave a speechon the topic of China-UK relations development. Zhao Ji, President ofNortheastern University, met with Ambassador Andrew Key in Han Qing AssemblyHall.
President Zhao Ji welcomed Andrew Key, and introduced NortheasternUniversity for him briefly. He indicatedthat NortheasternUniversity would insist internationalizationdevelopment, and would like to promote joint school establishment, student exchanging,and talent introduction with colleges and universities of UK. AmbassadorAndrew Key pointed out that UKattaches great importance in cooperation with China in the field of education andcultural communication. He hoped NortheasternUniversity would cooperate withcolleges and research institutions of UK in the future.
