Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming Met with Northeastern University President Zhao Ji

In the morning of Oct. 21st, Chinese ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming met with Northeastern University President Zhao Ji, vice president Zuo Liang and chief accountant Lu Yanhua in Chinese Embassy. 

 

 

Ambassador Cui Qiming introduced China-Belarus relations. He indicated that China and Belarus have profound traditional friendship, and have formed comprehensive strategic partnership. China actively participates in Belarus infrastructure construction these years. Science and education exchanges of the two countries have been developing rapidly, besides Belarus has well mass base in learning Chinese, which is strongly supported by the government. He placed great expectations to the establishment of the world first technological Confucius Institute, which would supply professional scientific and technological talents knowing both Chinese and Russian soon.  

 

President Zhao Ji thanked Chinese Embassy in Belarus for the great supports all the time on behalf of Northeastern University. He introduced prophase preparations of Confucius Institute establishing, and looked forward it could become the communication bridge between China and Belarus.
