Northeastern University Signed Quartet Cooperation Memorandum with Finland Delegation

On Jan. 19th, Finland delegation, which consists of leaders ofuniversities, government and enterprises, came to visit Northeastern University(NEU), and had an in-depth negotiation about aspects of common concerned, reachingconsensuses in many fields.



In the morning, Zhao Ji, president of NEU, met with the guests in Han QingAssembly Hall, and introduced them NEU’s development history, presentsituation, distinctive characteristics and advantages, as well as the futuredevelopment pattern and strategic planning briefly. Zhao Ji indicated that,there is broad cooperation space between NEU and Finland in many areas,especially in the levels of interschool cooperation and industry cooperation.Finland delegation expressed that NEU is certainly an ideal cooperative partnerin China for them, they all eager to start consultation and discussions aboutdeeper cooperation, and activate the comprehensive combination model whichincludes education, science and technology, industry, as well as commerce.Furthermore, they believe that the future cooperation with NEU would be boundto deliver fruitful achievements.



Later in the afternoon, Jiang Maofa, vice president of NEU, interviewed thepresident of Tempere University of Applied Sciences (Tampereenammattikorkeakoulu), and had discussions about specific matters of interschoolcooperation.


The same evening, NEU signed the Quartet Cooperation Memorandum withTempere University of Applied Sciences, Sastamla Education and Training Union,and Nordic CJF OY.
