Recently, the 2021RoboCup China Open was held in Tianjin. The team from NEU respectively won the national first prize, second prize and third prize in three projects.
The team of NEU_WUCAO, under the guidance of teachers Jia Zixi and Wen Shiguang from the Faculty of Robot Science and Engineering of NEU, won the first prize (runner-up) in the rescue simulation group, the second prize in the 3D simulation group, and the third prize in the 2D simulation group.
The 2021RoboCup China Open was sponsored by Tianjin Municipal People's Government, International Council of RoboCup Asia Pacific, Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), and Chinese RoboCup Committee, and was co-presented by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Tianjin Research Institute for Advanced Equipment of Tsinghua University, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee, CAA Robotics Competition Working Committee, and Tianjin Robot Industry Association. A total of more than 200 teams from all over China participated in the competition.
