Recently, the inaugural meeting and the first working meeting of the 4th committee of the Electromagnetic Metallurgy and High Magnetic Field Material Science Branch (referred to as the Branch below) of Chinese Society for Metals was held in Haikou, Hainan, co-hosted by the Branch and NEU, which was attended by members and representatives of Chinese Society for Metals and 40 branch organizations.
The 2021 National Symposium on Electromagnetic Metallurgy Technology & the Forum on Electromagnetic Induction Heating and Purification Technology were held in Haikou, Hainan, co-hosted by the Branch and NEU. The forum aimed to launch a wide technical exchange and a discussion on the basic theories, processes and technologies and equipment development of electromagnetic field in the areas of metallurgy and material equipment and processing. The meeting was attended by more than 100 representatives of 65 organizations including institutes of higher learning, scientific research institutions and enterprises in China.
