On October 12, the 11th Shenyang High-Level Talent Exchange Conference, hosted by the Graduate School of NEU and organized by the NEU Doctoral Student Association, successfully concluded at the NEU Nanhu Campus. Outstanding doctoral and Master's Degree student representatives from over 20 Shenyang-based universities and research institutions—including NEU, China Medical University, and the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gathered for the event.
This Conference was themed on "Breaking Boundaries, Pooling Strengths, Growing Together" and its opening ceremony was held at the Cai Guanshen Auditorium in Hanqing Hall. Lu Hongbin, President of the NEU Doctoral Student Association, and Qiao Wenhao, President of the China Medical University Postgraduate Association, took the stage to deliver welcoming remarks.
During the keynote presentation session, representatives from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang Normal University, Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and NEU delivered insightful presentations on topics such as scientific research innovation practices and high-quality development of student organizations.
During the group discussion session, representatives from various institutions engaged in open dialogue on key topics including academic innovation breakthroughs, pathways for cross-university collaboration, and career development planning. Through the exchange of ideas, they forged a consensus on cooperation, laying a solid foundation for future joint activities and deepening the synergy among student organizations.
During the conference, the Third Council Meeting of the Shenyang Region Graduate Student Academic Alliance was held concurrently. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the addition of new council member units to the Alliance and the establishment of future cross-university cooperation mechanisms, and completed the voting process.
The closing ceremony was held in the Jianlong Auditorium of the Science Museum. Li Jianxin, Executive Vice Chairperson of the NEU Doctoral Student Association, and Liu Wenyan, Chairperson of the Postgraduate Association of the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered closing remarks respectively. They summarized the Conference's achievements and encouraged young scholars to advance together.
It is reported that the Shenyang High-Level Talent Exchange Conference was first launched in 2014 and has since been successfully held for 11 consecutive sessions. The Exchange Conference, centered on research and academic experience sharing, establishes an efficient and diverse platform for interaction and collaboration among outstanding doctoral and graduate students across various fields in the Shenyang region. It provides a broad stage for advancing the vigorous development of regional academic research and accelerating the growth of young talents.
