On May 15, the 63rd Sports Meeting of NEU was held at the WuSi Stadium on the Nanhu Campus. Accompanied by the stirring Athletes' March, parade formations composed of the National Flag Guard of Honor, retired college student soldiers, the rhythmic gymnastics performance team, referees, and representative teams from various colleges, administrative departments, directly affiliated units, and the Office for Retired Staff entered the stadium in sequence with creative and personalized formations. This sports meeting introduced new mass events for faculty and staff, including touhu (pitch-pot), a 60m dryland dragon boat race, and a 60m team dribbling race, as well as a student physical fitness test competition. Furthermore, the final of the first "Liu Changchun Cup" line dance competition was held at the opening ceremony.
