Recently, the final results of the 15th Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition (2022) were released. The NEU (including NEU at Qinhuangdao) team won 10 national first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 13 third prizes. Teacher Huo Kai from NEU College of Arts was rated as “3-star Outstanding Instructors” (only two nationwide), teacher Wang Han from the same college was rated as “1-star Outstanding Instructors”, and NEU won the “Outstanding Organization Award”.
There were 15 categories (groups) in the competition, including software application and development, AI application, and digital media static design. The final review was undertaken by 6 divisions, including Shandong University, NEU, and Xiamen University. A total of 6,516 works from colleges and universities across the country were selected for the final review.
The Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition has been successfully held for 15 sessions since it was initiated in 2008. It is a significant national-level science and technology innovation competition in the List of National College Students Competitions by China Association of Higher Education, as well as a 5-star competition identified by the Star Classification Table of NEU for Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competitions.
