The 2025 Postgraduate Academic Forum of the China Association of Metallurgical Education (Metallurgy, Mining, and Environmental Disciplines) was held at Guilin University of Technology from July 4 to 7.
This Forum attracted over 70 outstanding postgraduate and doctoral students from more than 10 universities and research institutions in the metallurgical system across the country. After an intense contest through the segments of postgraduate reports, questioning and evaluation on the spot by a panel of experts, Yu Tianyou and Li Zhiguo, doctoral students from the School of Resources and Civil Engineering of NEU, and Li Taotao, a doctoral student, won the Special Prize.
It is reported that the Postgraduate Academic Forum of the China Association of Metallurgical Education is an annual academic exchange activity. This forum is intended to build a high-level learning, exchange and achievement display platform for postgraduate students from universities and research institutions in the metallurgical system. By broadening academic horizons and stimulating research enthusiasm, it promotes the continuous improvement of postgraduates' scientific research and innovation capabilities, providing talent support for the sustainable development of the metallurgical industry.
