Recently, the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee announced the selection results of the 17th “National Top 100 Outstanding Management Cases.” NEU had a total of six achievements selected for the list—including five Key Cases and one General Case—and was awarded the “Best Organization Award” of the competition, achieving a historic breakthrough in the university’s high-quality management case development and fully demonstrating the academic heritage and core competitiveness of its business administration discipline.

It is understood that the “National Top 100 Outstanding Management Cases” is the most authoritative specialized selection in China’s business administration case development field, with its outcomes incorporated into the core indicators of discipline evaluation and MBA professional degree accreditation. Among these, the selection criteria for Key Cases are stringent and nationwide competition is fierce, making them the most prestigious and valuable awards in this selection.

Following rigorous evaluation by the expert committee, a total of 55 cases from 13 institutions nationwide were ultimately selected as Key Cases, and 139 cases from 80 institutions were selected as General Cases. From our university, cases by Professor Sun Xinbo’s team were selected as Key Cases, and a case by Professor Jia Jianfeng’s team was selected as a General Case. The two teams demonstrated the solid scientific research capabilities and practical research capability of the university’s economics and management disciplines through these high-quality achievements.

The selection of multiple achievements on this occasion is an important outcome of the university case research team’s long-term dedicated research efforts, effectively elevating NEU’s industry influence and brand reputation in the national management case research arena. The university will continue to focus on the management innovation needs of local enterprises, distill distinctive research findings, support the development of China’s independent knowledge system in management, and contribute NEU’s expertise to domestic corporate management innovation and high-quality industrial development.
